How to get into a course you've joined on FutureLearn

This article covers how to start and return to a course you've already joined. For advice on joining a course, please see How to join a course.

Get into a course using email links

When you join a course, you will receive a welcome email at the moment you join. To get the course and start learning, you can click on the link in your welcome email.

You should receive an email every week to let you know what's coming up in this week of the course. These emails also contain links that will take you to the start of that week.

Get into a course while on the FutureLearn site

When you're signed into FutureLearn and browsing the site, you can go to Your Learning.

To find a course you've started, we recommend going to Your Learning. This will make sure you return to where you left off and avoid a situation where you join the same course multiple times.

To get to Your Learning, click on your profile picture and then click on Your Learning at the top of the menu that appears.

(If you haven’t uploaded a profile picture, your profile picture will be your initials in a coloured box, like in the example below.)

You can also access Your Learning by clicking on Your Learning in the top header of the page.

In Your Learning, you’ll see a list of courses you’ve signed up for. Click on the course you’d like to go to and you can get started.

You won’t see courses that haven’t started yet unless you use the drop-down menu in the top right of your course list (see the picture below) to show only your upcoming courses:
