To request a refund for your Unlimited subscription, provided that you meet the criteria of our refund policy, please contact orders@futurelearn.com.
You can manage or cancel your Annual or Monthly Unlimited subscription from your Account area. Click on ‘Subscriptions’, in there you will see all your subscriptions, including your Unlimited.
To avoid being charged for renewals, you must cancel before the next payment is scheduled to be taken - once you cancel, your subscription will not renew on your next payment due date but you will retain access to the benefits of Unlimited until the end of your current subscription period.

When does my subscription start?
If you subscribe to Unlimited for the first time, your monthly/annual subscription starts on the day you make the payment; if you are renewing your Unlimited, the new subscription will start on the day the previous subscription ends.
How do I cancel my Annual or Monthly Unlimited subscription?
You can cancel your Unlimited subscription from your account page. Click on the 'Subscriptions' heading, under the Unlimited section you can click on "cancel subscription".

Once you cancel, you will retain access to your Unlimited benefits until the end of your current term.
How can I check when if I have cancelled my Unlimited subscription?
If you have cancelled your subscription you can check when your subscription expires in your your account page. Click on the 'Subscriptions' heading and check the 'Unlimited' header to see the date your subscription will expire.

Can I switch from Monthly to Annual Subscription?
You can switch your monthly subscription to annual from your Account page!
From your Account go to Unlimited Subscription; you will be taken to the subscription plan page, where you will be able to switch your current Monthly plan to Annual.
When you switch, your new plan will begin immediately and you will receive a credit for the remainder of your current monthly payment.
You will then be able to see the next yearly renewal date for your Annual Unlimited in your account overview, under the Unlimited subscription plan.
Currently we do not offer downgrading your subscription plan from annual to monthly.
Can I use a discount code?
To use a discount code, enter it in the 'Got a discount code?' field at checkout and click 'Apply code'.

How can I reactivate my subscription if I have cancelled it?
Simply go to your account page. Click on the 'Subscriptions' heading, in the Unlimited section you can click on "reactivate subscription". If you need to change your payment details, please read our How to change your Subscriptions payment card article.
How do I enable my auto-renewal subscription?
By default, your subscription renews automatically at the end of the subscription cycle; eg.: a monthly subscription renews every month.
How can I turn off my Annual or Monthly auto-renewal subscription?
You can turn off the auto-renewal by cancelling your subscription; click on "cancel subscription" next to the Unlimited membership, under the Subscription area in your account.

What if I need to defer my subscription?
Your Unlimited subscription is valid for the term of your chosen plan, which can be either monthly or annual. It starts from the day you made the payment and the validity cannot be changed.
However, you may experience circumstances which are sudden, unforeseen or outside of your control. If you find yourself in exceptional circumstances, please contact our Community Team via our contact form and we'll be happy to consider your case.
