Using FutureLearn on a shared computer

Sharing accounts

You shouldn't share a FutureLearn account with anyone – even if they’re really nice! This is stated in our Terms & Conditions.

We need to know that your comments, assignments, and quiz and test answers are your own work. It can also become confusing for both of you if you're at different points in the same course, or if you're getting lots of emails from different courses to the same email address.

Two learners with a shared email address

The same email address can't be used for two separate FutureLearn user accounts. If you sign up using a shared email address then whoever you share it with will need to sign up with a different address.

Don’t worry, it’s easy to create a new email address and it doesn’t need to cost anything. There are lots of services that provide free email, for example, Google's Gmail and Microsoft's Outlook.com.
