How do FutureLearn assignments work?

Some FutureLearn courses contain assignment steps as a way of helping you put what you've learned into practice.

Assignments are reviewed by your fellow learners. This is part of FutureLearn's social learning ethos, where we champion interaction and knowledge exchange between learners.

In your course To-do list, you'll see that every course step has a label next to it telling you what type of content to expect.

Assignment steps are where you submit your assignment. They will contain instructions on what to submit, links to any additional reference material, and a box for you to type or copy your work into.

Review steps are where you review another learner's work. They will contain advice on what to include in your review to make it as helpful as possible for that learner, and a box for you to type or copy your review into.

Reflection steps are where you can look at other learners' reviews of your own work. You will see a list of reviews from everyone who has commented on your assignment.

As with comments, assignments and reviews must follow FutureLearn's Code of Conduct. Assignments and reviews that break the Code of Conduct may be reported to the moderators and removed from the site.
