Are certificates free?

If you take a course with the (free) Limited Access option, you won't receive a certificate

To get a certificate for a short course you have joined with the Limited Access option, you will need to pay to upgrade your course or become an Unlimited learner.

You can find information about how much a course upgrade (also labelled the 'buy this course' option) costs on the course description page.

If a course offers a free seven-day trial, you will need to enter your credit card details in order to join. If you do not cancel your trial, you will be charged after seven days. For more information, please see How the ExpertTrack free trial period works.

Some of our courses are sponsored to include a free digital upgrade. You can find a list of our courses with free digital upgrades here.

Please note we only provide printed certificates on Upgrade and Premium courses. Our other courses (including sponsored courses, ExpertTrack courses, and any courses completed under an Unlimited subscription) offer only digital certificates.
