Pay in a convenient currency
FutureLearn accepts GBP, EUR, USD and AUD and determines what currency you're charged in based on your IP address. It's not possible to change the currency that you’re being asked to pay in, however we hope to offer this in future.
What payment methods do you accept?
We can only accept payments made by card (Visa, Mastercard and American Express) or PayPal via our online system. Payment for ExpertTracks can only be made by card.
We’re sorry, but we can’t accept Western Union, payment over the phone, or any other method.
Can I get a tax receipt / invoice?
- For ExpertTrack subscriptions, we issue invoices by email when you are charged, attached with the payment confirmation email.
- For Upgrades, Unlimited and paid for courses, our order confirmation email contains the breakdown of the price (including the VAT and our VAT details) - you should be able to use this for company expense claims.
If you haven't received your email please check your junk/spam folders. If not in there, get in touch at firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll resend it. Please note that we can only send these emails to the email address linked to your FutureLearn account.
Can I pay by invoice?
Unless purchasing in bulk (orders of 10 or more) it is not possible to pay by invoice.
I'm interested in paying in bulk. How can I do this?
Do you have a gift card?
We don't currently have a system for gifting courses, but we'd like to be able to offer this in future.
Is your payment system secure?
We use the payment gateways Stripe and PayPal for our transactions. FutureLearn, Stripe and PayPal are all PCI compliant. Your card details are transmitted entirely securely and all of our pages are served securely over SSL (Secure Sockets Layer).
