This article explains how to pay for someone else.
For information about how to purchase upgrades in bulk, please see What is a voucher code?
If you are interested in purchasing multiple subscriptions for your employees, please see our FutureLearn for Business page.
How to pay for a course
Please note that we do not have any function to transfer course or subscription purchases between accounts on FutureLearn. If you purchase a course or subscription on FutureLearn then that purchase will be available only on the account under which you were logged in at the time of the purchase.
Right now, for purchases of less than 5 enrolments, we can only accept online payments, made by card (Visa, Mastercard and American Express) or PayPal. So each learner would either need to know the card details to add at checkout, or they would need to pay using their own card and request reimbursement.
Please note that our payment gateway system, Stripe, doesn't ask for the name on your card. All it requires is the card number, expiry date and CVV, so please only enter the details requested.
In the future we want to add more options, and we're sorry for the inconvenience in the meantime.
If needed, an invoice can then be requested post-transaction, by filling out the form on the following link: B2C Invoice Request Form.
Once requested, invoices should be received by email within 30 days.
Please note: invoices for any ExpertTrack or Unlimited subscriptions are sent via email when you make the payment, attached with the payment confirmation email. Please check your junk/spam folders.
Do you have gift cards?
FutureLearn doesn't currently offer gift cards for any of our products, but we might consider adding this in the future.
