As part of an offer, FutureLearn may add a promotional credit to your FutureLearn account for you to redeem against your next subscription.
- Promotional credit can only be applied to subscription products, such as Unlimited and ExpertTracks.
- Promotional credit cannot be applied to Upgrades, microcredentials or degrees.
How to check your promotional credit

Sign in to FutureLearn and click your avatar in the top right corner

Select ‘subscriptions’ and then click ‘manage my payments’:

This will open a new window. Your credit balance will show in pink text next to ‘account information’:

How to redeem your promotional credit
Your credit will be applied to the next subscription you purchase.
For example,
To renew an expired Unlimited subscription using promotional credit:

Sign in to FutureLearn and click your avatar in the top right corner

Select ‘subscriptions’ and then click ‘reactivate subscription’:

Add a payment method if required. The full price of Unlimited (£249.99) will be displayed on this page, but your credit will still be applied.
Or simply confirm and reactivate your subscription.

You will receive a confirmation email on renewal with the subject line 'Thank you for your subscription payment'. It includes an attached invoice showing the credit has been applied.
Unused promotional credit
Please remember that depending on the offer, promotional credit may expire or be withdrawn from your account if it isn’t used before the deadline. The deadline will be stated in the T&Cs for any offer.
