If you're having trouble signing in, the easiest thing to do is reset your password.
Please note that you will need to be signed out of the site in order to reset your password. (To sign out, click on your profile picture in the top right hand corner of the site and then click 'sign out. If you haven't uploaded a profile picture, your default profile picture will be your initials in a coloured box.)
To reset your password:
- go to the FutureLearn sign in page and click on Forgot your password?
- (alternatively, go to the password reset page)
- insert your email address
- click ‘Submit'
- we'll send you an email with instructions on how to reset your password.
If you haven't received an email, please check your spam folder. If the email isn't there, please add email@example.com to your address book and then requesting another password reset email.
Please check that this was the address you used to join FutureLearn. If you're sure this is the correct address and you're still not receiving the emails, let us know at firstname.lastname@example.org
Receiving a password reset email when you haven't requested one
If you received a password reset email but didn't ask for your FutureLearn password to be reset, don't worry. We don't reset your password unless you click the link in the email and enter a new password. No-one should be able to reset your password unless you forward that email to them, or give them access to your email account.
We'll always let you know if your password has been changed
If your password is changed, FutureLearn will email you with the subject, 'Your FutureLearn password has been changed'. If someone changes your password without your permission, please get in touch with us as soon as possible at email@example.com.
