Courses in different languages

Most of our courses are in English and we're concentrating on English, especially as we test new features on the site

We have some courses which are completely in different languages, and a few more with subtitles in different languages.

Some courses do come with translations of the course steps or videos, which are provided by the course partner.

If the course does come with translations, these are usually in the form of a transcript in one or two alternative languages which can be found in the downloads section for the course.

You'll find downloads at the bottom of a course step, underneath the Mark as complete and previous/next step arrows and above the comment section:

We don't currently have a way to search for courses in a specific language.

Comments in different languages

If a course is in English we ask learners to post in English, apart from in language courses. This is because:

• Learners need to understand each other to learn effectively, so we need a common language.
• We need to be able to deal with comments that break our rules, and our moderators currently only work in English.

Support for non-English speaking learners

At the moment we can only provide technical support in English.
